NYC: EDUARDO CANTO LATE NIGHT AT THE MET - TONIGHT ONLY
Award-winning Brazilian singer Eduardo Canto makes his NYC cabaret debut at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, June 19th at 11:30 pm with his show 'Lupicinio Rodrigues - Your Stories & Songs". Musical direction and arrangements by Roberto Menescal. Voted as one of the top 3 popular singers in Brazil by Brazilian Music Award, Eduardo Canto will sing with his beautiful baritone voice the stories and songs of the composer most recorded in Brazil: Lupicinio Rodrigues. His show won a definitive record deal to create a CD, with music production and arrangements by Roberto Menescal (who also plays on all tracks). Eduardo Canto, and the full magnitude of his baritone voice, brings us to the universe of passione through his compositions in bossa nova rhythm. In the script there are14 songs and their stories. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
