On Thursday, June 20th, Lorraina Marro returns to the stage at THE WAREHOUSE RESTAURANT (4499 Admiralty Way, Marina Del Rey, CA - 310-823-5451 - ) She will be singing together with Chris Glik on piano, Michael Saucier on electric bass, and Steve Pemberton on drums. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Lorraina Marro has made her mark as a classy, sophisticated and talented jazz vocalist, who is passionate about her music and committed to interpreting songs in her own style. Her live performances display her joy in singing, her charm, warm sense of humor and genuine connection with her audience. Her own life experiences help breathe life into the lyrics she sings, whether it be a ballad that tears at the heartstrings or a lively up tempo number that makes you want to smile and tap your feet on the floor. Growing up, Lorraina was heavily influenced by one legendary vocalist in particular - Nancy Wilson, but also credits other extraordinary singers such as Della Reese, Dinah Washington, Frank Sinatra, Dionne Warwick, and Barbra Streisand for inspiring her to develop and share her gift with the world.
