NYC: "FRANK & FRIENDS" WITH FRANK WILDHORN TONIGHT AT BIRDLAND
The Broadway at Birdland partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn continues with another "Frank & Friends" concert on Monday, June 17th at 7:00 pm atBIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080). The series of very special one-night-only concerts celebrates the songs and favorite performers from the composer's wide range of work in popular, theatrical and classical music. All profits will go to THE ACTORS FUND, a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment. The show will feature Broadway performers Jackie Burns (currently Elphaba in Wicked), Ryan Silverman (Drama Desk nominee for Passion), Teal Wicks (Emma Carew in Jekyll and Hyde), and Darren Ritchie (Wonderland) with Wildhorn at the piano. Jason Howland will act as musical director. There is a $35 cover plus a $10 food/drink minimum.
