TODAY IN NYC: AUSTRALIAN HUGH SHERIDAN PERFORMS 1-NIGHT ONLY BENEFIT
Twenty four year old Hugh Sheridan, Australia's Hottest Young Star, will be making his USA debut in "Newley Discovered" to benefit BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS on Thursday, October 7th at 8:00 pm at THE SNAPPLE THEATRE (210 West 50th Street, NYC - 212 921-7862). The show is an homage to Anthony Newley. Sheridan is Ben Rafter on "Packed to the Rafters," Australia's leading TV Series, for which he has won 2 Logies. He records for Sony Entertainment Music Australia. His debut album Speak Love is high up on the charts. The show was commissioned by David Campbell for the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Music by Anthony Newley, Leslie Bricusse, Lloyd Price. The event will be presented by Pat Addiss and Sarah Killey Productions.
