TODAY IN L.A.: "KRITZERLAND AT THE GARDENIA" WITH UNSUNG MUSICALS
THE GARDENIA (7066 Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA - 323-467-7444) will present the second of a new series of shows, Kritzerland at the Gardenia, on the first Wednesday of every month, on Wednesday, October 6th at 9:00 pm. Kritzerland is record producer Bruce Kimmel's label, and the first series of shows will be based on the outstanding albums Kimmel has produced. Based on the series of albums produced by Bruce Kimmel, "Unsung Musicals" features great songs from flop shows. It's a treasure trove of wonderful material. They'll be performed by Susanne Blakeslee (Forbidden Broadway, multiple roles), Damon Kirsche (South Coast Repertory's Carl-Magnus in A Little Night Music), Jackie Seiden (Hairspray on Broadway), Alet Taylor (Cabrillo Music Theatre's Adelaide in Guys & Dolls) and Andy Taylor (Leo, national tour of The Producers). There is a $15 cover (no cover with dinner).
