The CD Release Party of Susan Winter's 2010 MAC award winning CD, "Love rolls on ... Carole J. Bufford returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) with a special encore performance of "intro" on Monday, October 18th at 7:00 pm. In her show, "intro", Carole, a bluesy singer with a penchant for any song that tells a great story, takes a soulful, fresh approach to everything from pop standards to the Great American Songbook. Her cabaret will feature the songs of Bessie Smith, Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke, The Beach Boys, and many others. The show is directed by Lennie Watts with Musical Direction by Nate Buccieri. Recently, Bufford was featured and received rave reviews in Broadway By The Year: Musicals of 1927 and Musicals of 1966 at Town Hall and was singled out by the New York Times at the 20th Annual Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center presented by the Mabel Mercer Foundation.
