FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT
The Actors' Guild will present a benefit concert featuring the talented French-Canadian songstress Myriam Phiro on Monday, May 6th at 7:00 pm at GUILD HALL AT THE LITTLE CHURCH (1 East 29th Street, NYC - 212-685-2927 - http://www.actorsguild.org ). Phiro will be backed by a small band, and will perform a repertoire of French and jazz music in historic Guild Hall. The concert will coincide with the release of her first album, My Reverie. Following the concert, a reception with wine and cheese will be held. A native of Quebec, Phiro is a frequent performer at The Back Room, The Duplex, and more, and has appeared in Montreal's famed "Just for Laughs Festival." Her style is influenced by many legendary artists, including Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Madeleine Peyroux, and Ella Fitzgerald. Suggested donation: $10. All Proceeds to benefit The Episcopal Actors' Guild.
