DC: THE VOCAL WORKSHOP GRADUATION CONCERT AT BLUES ALLEY
The Vocal Workshop Graduation Concert will be held at BLUES ALLEY (1073 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC - 202-337-4141 - ) on Monday, May 6th with shows at 7:00 & 9:00 pm. The Vocal Workshop is an eight-week program designed to guide members in the journey towards becoming the jazz vocalist they want to be. The workshop offers high-quality instruction in the art of jazz singing, in a setting with other vocalists who share member goals. Chris Grasso is a Washington, D.C.- based jazz pianist who specializes in working with vocalists. Chris has performed live with jazz greats Keter Betts and Buck Hill, and has also appeared with Ken Peplowski and the Chuck Redd Quartet. Paul Pieper is an award winning guitarist with over 20 years of experience as a full time jazz musician and teacher in the Washington DC area. Call for cover/minimum information.
