Teddy Riley & Blackstreet Featuring Dave Hollister performs atYOSHI'S (1330 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-655-5600) on Wednesday, May 8th with shows at 8:00 & 10:00 pm. Blackstreet is an American R&B group founded in 1992 by Thomas Taliaferro (producer) Bobby Brown and Teddy Riley, the inventor of New Jack Swing known for his work as a member of Guy. The original lineup released their first single in 1993 on the soundtrack to the movie CB4 starring Chris Rock titled "Baby Be Mine" featuring Joseph Stonestreet on lead and produced by Teddy Riley and written by Teddy Riley and Joseph Stonestreet. Stonestreet however left the group shortly after the single was released due to creative and personal differences with Riley and was replaced by Dave Hollister before the group recorded their debut album but not before he and Riley co-wrote a song called "I Wanna Make Love" for their debut album.
