DC: AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH ALI RYERSON & STEVE RUDOLPH AT GERMANO'S
Back by popular demand, internationally renowned jazz flutist Ali Ryerson returns to CABARET AT GERMANO'S (300 South High Street, Baltimore, MD - 410-752-4515) on Friday, May 10th at 7:30 pm. Ali will join in a special duo evening with one of her favorite collaborators, pianist Steve Rudolph. Ali and Steve will perform music from their CD 'Soul Quest' plus some beautiful ballads, bossa novas and jazz standards. Ali Ryerson is considered to be among the top jazz flutists in the world, as voted in the 2012 Downbeat Jazz Poll, and by the Jazz Journalists Association. Ali performs, records and teaches internationally, with performances ranging from Carnegie Hall to the Kennedy Center; the Monterey Jazz Festival to the famed Blue Note jazz club in both NY and Japan. She has released nearly two dozen highly acclaimed jazz albums on major jazz labels and has performed with a multitude of jazz icons during a career spanning four decades. There is a $15 cover.
