LONDON: B.J. WARD IN BEYOND COMPARE AT THE CRAZY COQS
Backed by her trio, B.J.Ward performs unique and loving interpretations of the witty, passionate songs of Marshall Barer in BEYOND COMPARE at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, April 13th at 8:00 pm. Barer was an immensely talented lyricist, librettist, singer, songwriter and director who wrote songs for Musical Theatre and special material for the likes of Bing Crosby and Sid Caesar. He also had his own cabaret act in the 1970s, which he performed in clubs in New York and Los Angeles. For over 40 years, B.J. Ward has made a living as a singer, actress and voice actress. Her successful one-woman show Stand Up Opera delighted audiences from coast to coast. She has worked with composers including Stephen Sondheim, Maltby and Shire, Barry Manilow and Stephen Schwartz. As a voice actress, B.J. has voiced hundreds of characters including iconic characters such as Velma from "Scooby Doo" and Scarlett from "G.I. Joe". Call for cover/minimum information.

Peter White makes a welcome return to THE PHEASANTRY(152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Sunday & Monday, April 12th & 13th at 8:00 pm. Los Angeles-based British guitarist and songwriter Peter White is one of the international jazz scene's most respected artists. Recent winner of the National Smooth Jazz Awards 'Best Guitar' (for the third time), he has played alongside artists including Al Stewart, Janis Ian and Tori Amos. Call for cover/minimum information.
