NEW HOPE, PA: SARAH DASH & PHILADELPHIA GAY MEN'S CHORUS TO "SING OUT LOUD & PROUD"

Sarah Dash, founding member of the pioneering all-girl space funk trio LaBelle, returns to THE RRAZZ ROOM IN NEW HOPE (6426 Lower York Road, New Hope, PA - 888-596-1027) on Saturday, April 18th at 8:00 pm, this time with the Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus, in a benefit for SOLAP (Sing Out Loud and Proud), Planned Parenthood Keystone's annual fundraiser. Sarah Dash, actor / singer with the pioneering all-girl space funk trio LaBelle, continues to dazzle audiences with her soulful voice that earned her platinum albums and concert tours with Keith Richards and The Rolling Stones. As a member of LaBelle, she helped create classic soul hits like It's Going To Take a Miracle and Lady Marmalade. The Philadelphia Gay Men's Chorus, one of the oldest gay men's choruses in the United States, performed for the first time in 1981. It was the first LGBT musical group to perform in Philadelphia's City Hall, and has seen its membership grow to 60 at its highest. The Planned Parenthood Keystone's Beyond the Rainbow Award will go to Doylestown Mayor Ron Strouse for his extraordinary support and consciousness for the LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Allies) programs, Planned Parenthood, and the greater LGBTQA community. Planned Parenthood Keystone's education outreach programs reached more than 13,000 participants in 2014, including three programs for LGBT youth in Doylestown, Reading and York. There is a $75 cover.
