PALM SPRINGS, CA: FAITH PRINCE AT THE COPA
Tony Award winner Faith Prince performs at THE COPA (244 East Amado Road, Palm Springs CA - 760-866-0021) on Saturday, April 18th at 8:00 pm. Prince dazzles audiences as she moves effortlessly between theatre, concerts, television and movies. Her latest concert, Have A Little Faith, is a "smorgasbord" of Faith Prince: past, present and future. From her memorable Broadway triumphs to tales and songs from her early Off-Broadway gems to her latest Broadway roles, the evening sparkles with doses of Faith's quirky trademark humor as well as touching moments filled with pathos. As hostess of this musical evening, Faith Prince guarantees that the best is yet to come! Faith Prince has been thrilling Broadway audiences since winning the Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as "Ms. Adelaide" in Guys and Dolls. As one of Broadway's best loved leading ladies, Faith can currently be seen as the scheming, irascible "Miss Hannigan" in the revival of Annie. In 2008, she was nominated for Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for A Catered Affair. Other Broadway credits include The Little Mermaid, Bells Are Ringing (Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle noms), Nick & Nora (Outer Critics Circle Award), Jerome Robbins' Broadway (Tony, Outer Critics Circle noms), Little Me, The Dead, and Noises Off. She also starred in the national tour of the Broadway hit Billy Elliott. Faith currently recurs on Lifetime's hit series Drop Dead Diva as Brooke Elliott's mother, "Elaine" and most recently appeared on the season finale double episode of ABC Family's Melissa & Joey. As a guest artist Faith frequently works with the Boston Pops, Utah Symphony, Cincinnati Pops, and Philly Pops, and recently starred in the Orlando Philharmonic's concert version of Sweeney Todd. The musical road from Riverside, California to San Diego rambles through Nevada, Oklahoma and almost every state in between, where Carol Curtis traveled as a musician. With a degree in music education from Oklahoma State University, she inspired young minds for several years, only to return to her true calling: cabaret-style singing. Playing the audience as skillfully as she plays piano and guitar, Carol weaves an eclectic mix of torch songs, Broadway and standards into an evening of fun repartee. No cover charge.

Wexler has headlined at jazz festivals, performing arts centers and major jazz clubs both nationally and internationally. She has released four CDs which have all topped the national jazz charts. Roger Kumble's relentless game of cat and mouse comes to life at the ROCKWELL: TABLE & STAGE (1714 Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA - 323-669-1550) on Fridays & Saturdays in April at 8:00 pm in 'The Unauthorized Musical Parody of Cruel Intentions'. Harold Sanditen, the suave and talented host of the Coqs' hugely popular Open Mic Night, is delighted to introduce his newest solo show, FLYIN' HIGH, as part of his world tour, at SOCIETY CABARET AT THE HOTEL REX (562 Sutter Street, San Francisco, CA 94102 - 800-982-2787) on Saturday, April 18th at 7:00 pm. An intrepid traveller, having visited every continent except Antarctica, Sanditen finds the humour everywhere he goes, something that shines through in his performances. From Albuquerque to the Zambezi, with songs ranging from Bacharach and the Beatles to Jobim and Weill, this 65-stop world tour is packed with songs, laughs, exciting, new, jazz-infused arrangements and perhaps even a tear or two. Come find out who said "Bloody hell, mate! Aren'tcha gonna take me back to the tent and take advantage of me?!" Since bursting onto the jazz and cabaret scene in 2008, Sanditen has devised six cabaret shows in as many years and has played to packed houses from London to LA. Before finding his own voice, Harold spent 20 years as a theatre producer where he worked with actors ranging from Academy Award winners to complete up-and-comers. During these three shows, a "Live at The Crazy Coqs" CD will be recorded. This will be the first CD recorded in the venue for commercial release. Harold will be joined on stage by Michael Roulston on piano, Tom Mansi on bass and Jonathan Kitching on drums. There is a $10-$45 cover.

Following a sold-out engagement in March 2014, FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) welcomes back Grammy Award-winning vocalist, Steve Tyrell, for a limited two-week engagement opening on Thursday, April 9th and running Thursdays through Sundays, through April 19th. Showtimes are 8:00 pm on Thursdays & Fridays; and 7:00 pm on Saturdays & Sundays. Tyrell will perform songs from his new highly anticipated album "That Lovin' Feelin'," including "Up on the Roof" and "Groovy Kind of Love," as well some of his other favorites!
