HOTLINE MEMBER CABARET EVENT TONIGHT IN NYC: MASON AT MAMA'S IN MARCH
Way back in 1982 (8 years BC - 8 years before CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE) DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) opened in the Manhattan Theater District on Restaurant Row. Two legendary cabaret stars opened the room - Karen Mason and the late Nancy LaMott. And now, 32 years later, Karon Mason returns for MARCH IS CABARET MONTH with her show MASON at MAMA'S in MARCH! Karen will perform every Sunday and Monday in March at 7:00 pm starting on Sunday & Monday, March 1st & 2nd. Karen's new show features fresh arrangements of classics, new songs and music she and her longtime composer/ arranger Brian Lasser performed in the early days at Mama's. Musical Director is Christopher Denny and the show is directed by Barry Kleinbort. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
