NYC: CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE MARCH IS CABARET MONTH GALA
The EIGHTH ANNUAL MARCH IS CABARET MONTH GALA will be held on MONDAY, MARCH 2nd at 9;30 pm at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440). Stu Hamstra and Sue Matsuki are co-producing the event this year on behalf of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.
Ticket prices are as follows:
REGULAR PRICE: $20 ($5 DISCOUNT FOR 2014-15 MEMBERS OF CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE)
VIP TICKETS: $35 ($5 DISCOUNT FOR 2014-15 MEMBERS OF CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE).

A MARCH IS CABARET MONTH EVENT
Way back in 1982 (8 years BC - 8 years before CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE) DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) opened in the Manhattan Theater District on Restaurant Row. Two legendary cabaret stars opened the room - Karen Mason and the late Nancy LaMott. And now, 32 years later, Karon Mason returns for MARCH IS CABARET MONTH with her show MASON at MAMA'S in MARCH! Karen will perform every Sunday and Monday in March at 7:00 pm starting on Sunday & Monday, March 1st 7 2nd. Karen's new show features fresh arrangements of classics, new songs and music she and her longtime composer/ arranger Brian Lasser performed in the early days at Mama's. Musical Director is Christopher Denny and the show is directed by Barry Kleinbort. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

"Broadway On 22nd Street", now in its fourth season, will be presented at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - ) on Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 pm. Each performer sings a mini set that incudes Broadway and non Broadway Songs. Performers TBA. Created by Joseph Macchia Broadway On 22nd street features some of Broadways most talented performers. Tracy Stark Musical directs. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
NYC: THE CAST OF IF/THEN SINGS KITT & YORKEY
For one night only, on Monday, March 2nd at 7:00 & 11:30 pm at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) hear the songs of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey! Featuring the work of the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning songwriters of If/Then, Next to Normal and the upcoming The Visitor and starring the cast of If/Then, this special concert will feature some of Kitt & Yorkey's most popular songs, and some rarities, all presented in a surprising and unexpected one-night-only event. Featuring: Joe Cassidy, Jenn Colella, Charles Hagerty, Janet Krupin, Tamika Lawrence, Megan Lewis, Deedee Magno-Hall, Tyler McGee, Ryann Redmond and Jason Tam. NYC: THE LAST SHIP COMPANY IN CONCERT
The original cast and band of Sting's musical The Last Ship reunite at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, March 2nd at 9:30 pm to celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders. With performances by: Eric Anderson, Ethan Applegate, Fred Applegate, Dawn Cantwell, Jeremy Davis, Bradley Dean, Alyssa DiPalma, Michael Esper, Colby Foytik, David Michael Garry, Timothy Gulan, Shawna M. Hamic, Rich Hebert, Todd A. Horman, Sarah Hunt, Sean Jenness, Collin Kelly-Sordelet, Drew McVety, Johnny Newcomb, Matthew Stocke, Cullen R. Titmas, Sally Ann Triplett and Jeremy Woodard.
