LONDON: BILLY STRITCH AT THE CRAZY COQS
The popular and talented American singer/ pianist Billy Stritch presents his new show MY MUSICAL HEROES, a tribute to the musical icons that have influenced his style, at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Thursday, March 3rd through 5th at 8:00 pm. Alongside Mel Torme and Cy Coleman, Billy includes songs by Jule Styne, Burton Lane, Stephen Sondheim and Antonio Carlos Jobim, amongst others. Billy Stritch is a premier singer/ pianist on the New York and national jazz and cabaret scene. He has performed in London many times both as a solo artist and as an accompanist to Liza Minnelli. LONDON: BEVERLEY BEIRNE & THE SAM WATT'S TRIO
Yorkshire based jazz singer Beverley Beirne returns to THE PHEASANTRY(152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Tuesday, March 3rd at 8:30 pm following an exciting year, which included performing at Pizza Express Jazz Club with veteran sax player Duncan Lamont and singer Esther Bennet. A regular at festivals and jazz venues throughout the country Beverley is known for her ability to innovate as for her stunning voice. A truly gifted interpreter of standards, Beverley is also known for her exciting interpretations from other genres. Her arrangements of well-known songs like 'Walk On By' from her debut album Seasons of Love released in 2012 make them all her own. She is joined by special guest Rob Hughes.
