NYC: DONNA HAYES WITH ORDINARY MIRACLES

Donna Hayes returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Friday, March 6th at 7:00 pm with her newest show "Ordinary Miracles" directed by Gretchen Reinhagen with musical direction by Justin Stoney. Added to the mix for this show are Matt Scharfglass on bass and Donna Kelly on drums. Donna shares her stories through songs ranging from brand new R&B, classic rock, show tunes, oldies to reggae - by artists and songwriters such as Carole King, John Legend, Stephanie Mills, Bob Marley, Coldplay, Tracy Chapman, Kander & Ebb, Phillip Phillips, and more. These are Donna's personal accounts, and the songs that remind her that the world around us is not so ordinary after all. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: MARY FOSTER CONKLIN AT A MOSCOW 57

Jazz/ cabaret vocalist Mary Foster Conklin performs on Friday nights at MOSCOW57 ON DELANCEY (168 1/2 Delancey Street, NYC - 212-260-5775) at 8:00 pm. on Friday, January 30th the club celebrated its one year anniversary on the corner where Loisaida meets the Williamsburg Bridge. Owned by Ellen Kaye, singer/ pioneer/ force of nature, who nightly hosts the best party in town with a rotating group of artistsecalls it Hobohemia - A Rendezvous of Strangers. Mary sings a short set every Friday, with Ethan Fein on guitar and Benjamin Franklin Brown on bass. Call for cover/minimum information.

NYC: "RETURN OF THE THIRD-RATE LOUNGE SINGER!"

Lodi, NJ's favorite son Ronnie Giles returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Friday, March 6th at 7:00 pm with his show "Return Of The Third-Rate Lounge Singer!". Giles is joined by guest musical director s pianist Daryl Kojak. Ronnie started an acting career in 1968, playing mostly character roles in OOB, Regional, Stock, Community & College theater productions. After an Army career that spanned over four decades, he retired from the military, having reached his mandatory retirement age of 60 in 2007 and is now back to pursuing his acting and singing careers full-time. To keep himself "grounded-in-reality," he still hangs-out with many of the same friends he's had since his childhood. The show sold out its previous runs so best to reserve early. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Friday, March 6th at 7:00 pm - Double Header: Arnaldo! Drag Chanteuse in "LADY IS A TRAMP" & Robyn Spangler in "RIDDLE, RONSTADT & ROBYN" at EGAN'S at BALLARD JAMHOUSE (1707 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA - 206-789-1621). Arnaldo! sings Music from the Frank Sinatra songbook to open the PNW Cabaret Association's MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Celebration. Arnaldo! has thrilled audiences from Seattle, New York, Puerto Vallarta and Manila and has won the NY's Bistro Award 2008 and Manila's Gawad Musika Award 2014. Founder of PNW Cabaret Association and artistic director of Seattle's March is Cabaret Month, Arnaldo! wants to thank the passion and tenacity of all cabaret musical performers in helping preserve the Great American Songbook. Music director and accompanist: John Engerman. Robyn Spangler's "Riddle, Ronstadt & Robyn" shoe celebrates the big bands, big dresses and big hair. Robyn Spangler celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Nelson Riddle / Linda Ronstadt collaboration of the Great American Songbook singing from the three albums "What's New," "Lush Life," and "For Sentimental Reasons." Friday, March 6th at 9:00 pm - Joanne Klein and KJ & Athena McElrath: COCKTAILS, MEMORIES & YOU at EGAN'S at BALLARD JAMHOUSE(1707 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA - 206-789-1621). Joanne Klein has sung, danced, & acted on theatre stages, cabaret spaces, clubs, venues, & parks. She has toured nationally in theatre & bands performing in Canada, New York City, Paris, & Costa Rica. She worked at Disney's Fantasyland theatre production of "Snow White." Joanne teaches acting at Seattle Talent. K. J. & Athena McElrath perform a classic cabaret act of piano & singing reminiscent of what you might have heard from the 1920s to the 1960s in New York's swankiest nightspots. With a popular mix of songs from the heyday of Vaudeville, Broadway & Hollywood, they bring warmth, humor & authenticity in style, entertaining enthusiastic audiences since 1996.
