LONDON: BILLY STRITCH AT THE CRAZY COQS

The popular and talented American singer/ pianist Billy Stritch presents his new show MY MUSICAL HEROES, a tribute to the musical icons that have influenced his style, at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Thursday, March 3rd through 5th at 8:00 pm. Alongside Mel Torme and Cy Coleman, Billy includes songs by Jule Styne, Burton Lane, Stephen Sondheim and Antonio Carlos Jobim, amongst others. Billy Stritch is a premier singer/ pianist on the New York and national jazz and cabaret scene. He has performed in London many times both as a solo artist and as an accompanist to Liza Minnelli. LONDON: JOYCE BREACH AT THE PHEASANTRY: 'MOMENTS LIKE THIS'

Award winning singer Joyce Breach, one of the finest interpreters of classic American popular song, performs at THE PHEASANTRY (152-154 King's Road, London SW3 4UT - 08456 027 017) on Wednesday through Saturday, March 4th through 7th at 8:30 pm. The velvet-voiced singer is known for her excellent musicianship and taste, and her sophisticated interpretations of the songs of Gershwin, Rodgers & Hart and Sondheim among others. She is the last of a breed of singers from a less-frantic era, following in the footsteps of Rosemary Clooney, Doris Day and Peggy Lee, but very firmly in her own style. In 2002, 2003, and 2004 she played to sell-out crowds at London's Pizza on the Park where she recorded her first live CD, Live in London, on Audiophile. Call for cover/minimum information.
