NYC: MEMORIAL TRIBUTE TO JOE FRANKLIN AT THE MET

THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) presents a memorial tribute to the late Joe Franklin, on what would have been his 89th Birthday, Monday, March 9th at 7:00 pm. Hosted by Bernie Furshpan, this show was a planned show between Producer, Bernie Furshpan and Joe Franklin and his longtime Manager, Steve Garrin, well before his passing. We are deeply saddened by the loss of this beautiful man and will do this show as Joe would have wanted us to do. We will celebrate his life through stories and song and we hope that all of us bring a little piece of Joe so that we can memorialize him in a complete way. Performers iin the show are some of the people who were very special to Joe, and appeared on his show many times: Bill Boggs, Joe Sirola, George Bettinger, Jim Brochu, Ken Dashaw of Q104, Bob Diamond, Peggy Eason, Steve Garrin, Comic Bob Greenberg, Richard Holbrook, Judi Jourdan, Sunny Leigh, Quinn Lemley, Marieann Meringolo, Richard Skipper and Sara Zahn. Musical Director is Barry Levitt. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
