NYC: MARTA SANDERS: GET YOUR CHERUBS ON

Its Valentine's Day time once more, and once more award-winning Marta Sanders returns to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE(407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Saturday, February 7th at 7:00 pm and Sunday, February 8th at 1:00 pm, with her critically acclaimed show "Be My Valentine". Musical director is John McMahon. Director is Debra Zalkind. There is a $30 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

NYC: MY LIFE IS NOT A MUSICAL - STEPHANIE JOINER

Stephanie Joiner brings her show "My Life Is Not A Musical" to THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Saturday, February 7th at 7:00 pm. The show is a 30th birthday celebration of songs from the real world. Stephanie Joiner will remember days gone by through everything from art song to folk song to self-written songs. She is joined by Drew Wutke on piano. There is a $5 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LE SCANDAL CABARET CONTINUES AT THE BEECHMAN

NYC's longest running burlesque variety show, LE SCANDAL CABARET, continues on Saturdays, at 10:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). In its fourteenth year, Le Scandal features variety acts, circus performers, live music and a bevy of burlesque beauties. New performers every week! Expect sword swallowers, belly dancers, rope trick cowboys, contortionists, torch singing fan dancers and comedic aerobats, all set to the live music of the Le Scandal Orchestra. NYC: LOONY - FRENCH VAUDEVILLE

Join six young professional artists from Light Opera of New York for a comically zany tour through the vaudeville houses of 19th century Paris, arguably the birthplace of operetta, at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, February 7th at 4:00 pm.Repertoire you think you don't know, but you'll recognize it when you hear it! Light Opera of New York was founded in 2006 as a professional, not-for-profit company devoted to the performance of staged operettas and operetta concerts. Their performances have won the hearts of audiences and critics alike, and their young, stouthearted company attracts first rate talent to its roster, as well as important financial support from organizations such as the Victor Herbert Foundation and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. There is a $30 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LAVENIA NESMITH: A SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY DOWN MEMORY LANE

A native Washingtonian, Lavenia Nesmith, brings her show 'A Sentimental Journey Down Memory Lane' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, February 7th at 7:00 pm. Lavenia has performed locally and nationally, including Blues Alley, Twins Jazz, Bohemian Caverns, LaPortas, Jazz Night at Westminster, Oakland Mills Jazz Series, Henley Park Hotel, Ritz Carlton Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, Tuskegee Airmen Gala, The Arc of The Capitol, The Hart Senate Office Building, The Library of Congress, The Gaylord Hotel at The National Harbor and The Martin Luther King, Jr., International Chapel in Atlanta, Georgia. A promising musician since an early age, Lavenia suspended a professional musical career after college in order to start a family, raise two sons and follow a successful career path dedicated to public service, inspired to help others. Today, Lavenia is renewing the pursuit of her passion as a vocalist full time. Lavenia's stage credits include her recent performance in the production, "Washington's Greatest Slave Escape: In the Spirit of the Pearl", written and directed by D. Marietta Williams at The University of the District of Columbia. Lavenia has also given a powerful performance in the production, "Never Turn Back" written and directed by Curtis King at The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2004). In February 2004, she was the recipient of an award for "Outstanding Performance" in Tribute to Mahalia Jackson, presented by The Department of Commerce, Blacks in Government. Lavenia is also the Creator, Executive Producer, Actor and Vocalist in two original productions: "Sista's Can Sang" – A Tribute to Female Legends in Jazz and "A Tribute to Mahalia Jackson" There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: VIKTORIA TOCCA AT THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

International Award winning Swedish singer, Viktoria Tocca, who has appeared around the world to rave reviews, will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM(34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, February 7th at 9:30 pm. Viktoria is now concentrating on bringing her talent to the USA. Based in New York, she is recording and planning appearances across the country. Viktoria, acclaimed as having one of the most beautiful soprano voices of the generation, is determined to bring her talent to as wide an audience as possible. From playing the lead role of Christine in "Phantom of the Opera" to winning five awards at the 2013 Indie Music Channel Awards at the House of Blues in Los Angeles and nine awards at the 2012 IMCA's, which also included the prestigious "Artist of the Year" award; Viktoria is stunning the world of music. Viktoria grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, where she studied at the Adolf Fredrik School of Music, at the age of ten. She attended the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg, where she graduated the musical theatre program. Her first role was as Rapunzel in Stephen Sondheim's musical "Into the Woods. Viktoria won her first role abroad as Sissi, Empress of Austria, in the world premiere of the musical "Ludwig II" in Germany in 2000. After rave reviews and hundreds of performances, she was chosen to play the lead, Christine, in Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera" in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was a huge success, she played 200 performances without a break and she still remains one of the favorite "Christines" among the huge numbers of dedicated Phantom fans all over the world! Launching into the US marketplace in 2014; Viktoria's first cross-over single, "We're Still Young" reached the number 3 position on the Billboard Hot Single Sales Charts. She also won the 2014 Hollywood Music In Media Award "Best Contemporary" with the same single. Viktoria's second single "Ready to Run" was released at the end of 2014, together with a dramatic music video based on the song. Her first live debut with her band in New York was at the famed Lucille's at BB King's on 42nd Street to a great audience and rave reviews. Following on from this she was quickly booked to headline at the Hudson Room in Westchester in December where she performed to a packed house. In December she also acted and sang in her first feature film, shot in New York City. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: LADIES DO THE 80'S AT THE BEECHMAN

Manhattan Cabaret Arts presents Ladies Do The 80's, a fast paced revue of the iconic songs we love, at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Saturday, February 7th at 1:00 pm. Performers include Maria Plantilla, Marti Gonzales, Riana DiPalma, Meredith Katz and Karen Schatz. Directed by Nightlife and Broadway World winning director, Collette Black. Musical direction by 14 time Mac Award winner, Ricky Ritzel. There is a $20 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

Three-time Tony Award Nominee Marin Mazzie will perform at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Wednesday through Saturday, February 4th through 7th at 7:00 pm. She remembered for her recent show-stopping turn in Bullets Over Broadway, her corseted characters in Ragtime and Passion or maybe from the scene-chewing screwballs of Kiss Me Kate and Spamalot or possibly as the star of Next To Normal) Come see and hear the real Marin Mazzie as she steps back into her formative years with an evening of fun and fantasy as we get inside the head of a Midwest girl and the music she loved. There is a $50-$110 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: GREG HILDRETH & FRIENDS AT 54 BELOW

Greg Hildreth from the original cast of Broadways Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, performs at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - http://www.54below.com/ ) on Friday, February 6th at 9:30 pm. Hildreth also was the character stepping out from behind the ropes and bamboo sticks upstage of Celia Keenan-Bolger and Christian Borle in the original cast of Peter and the Starcatcher, or mugging downstage left of Santino Fontana and Laura Osnes in the original cast of Cinderella. In this show he makes his 54 Below solo debut in Second Fiddle, an evening of songs and stories about performing immediately stage left or right of beautiful people. His special guests include Celia Keenan-Bolger, Christian Borle, Santino Fontana, Jason Danieley and Kate Baldwin, and a 6-piece band led by Charlie Rosen. There is a $35-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: AT ACTOR_FRIEND AT 54 BELOW: #SOBLESSED: LIVE!

After a sold out performance in September, #SOBLESSED: Live! returns to 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, February 7th at 11:30 pm as part of the club's Late Night Series and a special winter engagement benefiting BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS. Starring a number of really awesome people you love to be announced, #SOBLESSED: Live! is the concert adaptation of #SOBLESSED, a satirical tell-all describing the life of the modern day actor in New York City, written by Internet personality, Annoying Actor Friend. #SOBLESSED: Live! features performances and stories associated with actors' experiences in college, pounding the pavement, on tour, Broadway and even while on unemployment. It will be nothing short of the type of experience you would expect from Annoying Actor Friend. Complete with interactive liver-murdering drinking games, profanity, hashtags, prizes, and the celebration of self deprecation, this event is sure to embody the essence you've grown to love or hate - but it won't matter anyway because you'll be so wasted you won't remember a thing the next morning. Hosted by Lesli Margherita (Matilda), #SOBLESSED Live! will feature performances by Jeremy Jordan (The Last Five Years, "Smash"), Wesley Taylor (The Addams Family, "It Could Be Worse"), Michael James Scott (Something Rotten!, The Book of Mormon), Keala Settle (Les Miserables), Adam Kaplan (Newsies), Megan Sikora (Like A Million Broadway Shows), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Ellyn Marie Marsh (Kinky Boots) and more awesome people who may just show up.
