NYC: JAY ROGERS & AARON MORISHITA: "DUETS: TUNES & SNAPPY PATTER"

Newlyweds Jay Rogers and Aaron Morishita are happy to reprise their musical entertainment, "Duets: tunes & snappy patter" at the THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) for one night only on Monday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm. Appearing with Bobby Peaco at the piano, Jay and Aaron will present a rousing selection of songs that were made famous by other people who sang together. Included are tributes to some of the boys' favorite duos - from The Girls of the Golden West (Millie and Dolly) to Steve and Eydie to The Peanuts (the twin teeny tiny singers who call Mothra) - as well some of the most infamous theater duets of all time. Join MAC- and Bistro Award winners Jay Rogers and Aaron Morishita as they see how far they can stretch the limits of appropriateness. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Brian Whitted brings his show "What's it all about Dionne? - A Dionne Warwick Tribute" to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, February 2nd at 9:30 pm. Brian invites you to spend a night with these Broadway and recording divas as they celebrate why there's always something there to remind us of the voice and career of living legend Dionne Warwick. Brian Whitted welcomes to the stage Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox, Tony Award winner La Chanze, recording artist Alyson Williams, and Broadway's Marva Hicks, Ramona Keller, Soara-Joye Ross, Amber Iman, and Darlesia Cearcy under the Direction of Lee Summers. They will perform your favorite Burt Bacharach tunes from Alfie, to Promises, Promises, and There's Always Something There to Remind Me. Josette Marchak, Romona Dunlap, and Kristina Nicole Miller will back this fabulous group of ladies in an evening you don't want to miss. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

Composer Robbie Torres presents an evening of original music performed by the next generation of Broadway's brightest at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Monday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm. Bildungsroman is a debut concert covering the evolution of Robbie's writing and the stories behind his songs. The evening should be an inspiring delve into the music of this rising musical theatre artist. There is a $15 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

Broadway's finest sing favorites from Anna K. Ryan Scott Oliver is the composer-lyricist fashioning epic dramas, Gothic thrillers, and high-octane rock and roll into exhilarating new musicals. At 54 BELOW(254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Monday, February 2nd at 7:00 & 9:30 pm he will be joined by a Broadway cast of powerhouses as they sing twisted, tragic and altogether traumatic tunes from Ryan Scott Oliver's musicals Jasper in Deadland, We Foxes, 35mm, Darling and more. Cast includes Alex Brightman, Lindsay Mendez, Katie Thompson, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Julia Mattison, Ben Fankhauser, Derek Klena, Katie Rose Clarke, Keala Settle, Andy Mientus, Jason Gotay, Ephie Aardema, F. NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
