INDIANAPOLIS, IN: THE HOT SARDINES: WORLD TOUR AT THE COLUMBIA CLUB
The Hot Sardines perform at THE CABARET AT THE COLUMBIA CLUB (121 Monument Circle, Indianapolis, IN - 317-275-1169) on Saturday, February 7th with shows at 7:00 & 9:30 pm. This raucous eight-piece group transforms hot jazz from Prohibition-era Bourbon Street to the cabarets of Paris into pop music for today. The show celebrates their debut tour and release of their new, self-titled album on the Decca/ Universal Music Classics label. The Hot Sardines have sold out 15 straight shows at New York City's famed Joe's Pub, and have performed at venues as diverse as Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing, Top of the Standard in New York City, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Shanghai Mermaid, and to sold-out audiences with the Boston Pops. There is a $25-$55 cover plus a $12 food/drink minimum.
CHICAGO: MY MAMA DONE TOLD ME (BUT I DID IT ANYWAY) STARRING PAT CHRISTENSON
Pat Christenson debuts her solo show "My Mama Done Told Me (But I Did It Anyway)' celebrating the glory and the gory of breaking the rules at DAVENPORT'S(1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830 - ) on Saturday, February 7th at 8:00 pm. With songs from Irving Berlin, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Paul Anka and more, Pat and music director Beckie Menzie will take you where your mama done told you not to go. There is a $13 cover,cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
