LONDON: TODD GORDON AT THE CRAZY COQS

Todd Gordon will perform at THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Monday, September 8th at 8:00 pm. As a live performer, Todd Gordon's concerts appeal to a wide audience. He has created several crowd-pulling, audience-pleasing concert themes which have won five star reviews and, along the way, many respected songwriters have praised Gordon's interpretations of their songs, including Gilbert O'Sullivan and Stephen Sondheim. An avid Beatles fan until the age of eleven, his musical horizons were broadened when he first heard a Frank Sinatra album. From that moment, he collected almost every record by Ol' Blue Eyes and, from there, his interest expanded to jazz and swing, encompassing numerous other renowned singers and instrumentalists. Further inspiration came in 1975, when he met Ella Fitzgerald, and he has been fortunate to work with some of the very best British muscians and performed with top US players. Call for cover/minimum information.
