TORONTO: TIA BRAZDA SINGS BILLIE HOLIDAY
Vancouver-born and raised jazz singer, Tia Brazda sings the songs of Lady Day at THE JAZZ BISTRO (251 Victoria Street, Toronto, ONT, CA - 416-363-5299) on Tuesday, August 26th at 8:00 pm in this special one-night performance celebrating the music of Billie Holiday. This show, already having received glowing reviews from the Barrie Jazz and Blues festival will also feature some of Toronto's top local musicians. Tia began her jazz career in 2009 when she appeared as a vocalist on Michael Kaeshammer's "Lovelight" and 2012 Juno-nominated DVD, "Kaeshammer Live". Her debut EP was released in 2012 to rave reviews from Globe and Mail, CBC and Jazz FM and she is currently at work on a new release to premiere this Fall. There is a $15 cover.
