NYC: JASON MORRIS' MUSICALLY YOGIC RETURNS TO THE METROPOLITAN ROOM

Performer/producer, Jason Morris, the 2013 MetroStar 1st Runner Up, returns to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, August 30th at 7:00 pm and Monday, September 22nd at 7:00 pm, with encore performances of his acclaimed new show, Musically Yogic. Musically Yogic plays uniquely as a Yoga class through score, dialoguing the seemingly magical parallels of music and movement, beat and breath as profound energies for transformation. Ancient spiritual science and abundant 21st Century humor meet soaring vocal renditions of Broadway and pop songs in a repertoire that includes "Thank Goodness" (Stephen Schwartz), "To Build A Home" (Cinematic Orchestra), "Pure Imagination" (Bricusse/Newley), "Glitter in the Air" (Pink), and "Who I'd Be" (Tesori/Lindsay-Abaire). Conceived and produced by Jason Morris (a singer and yogi, as you might expect), the show is directed by Julie Reyburn. Musical director is Tracy Stark. Tanya Holt•joins the show in special duet with Jason while Gretchen Reinhagen, Jackie Krystel, Wendy Anne Russell, and Kathleen Stuart appear as backup singers. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: JUDY AND LIZA TOGETHER AGAIN AT MAMA' S

Cabaret favorites Tommy Femia and Rick Skye have teamed up for another evening of "Judy and Liza Together Again" at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-757-0788) on Saturdays, August 2nd, 16th & 30th at 8:00 pm. They are joined by Ricky Ritzel (as Mort) at the piano. These MAC Award winning performers (Best Impersonation) will pull out all the stops, singing classic solo's, parodies, duets and just plain whooping and hollering by the greatest mother/ daughter team in show biz history. Tommy Femia is a 7 time winner of the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs (MAC) Award for his brilliant portrayal of Judy Garland in "Judy Garland LIVE!", now in it's 20th season at Don't Tell Mama. He has also starred in "Whoop-de-doo", "I Will Come Back" and, most recently, "Norma Does Men". Rick Skye is best known for writing a string of outrageous comic revues including "The Flip Side of Neil Sedaka", "MaCabaret - a tabloid fable", "The War of the Mama Roses", "It's Madame with an E" and the International hit - "A Slice O' Minnelli" for which has enjoyed successful season's in Covent Garden, at the Apollo Theatre in London's West End and at the Dublin Theatre Festival where he received the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance". There is a $25 cover charge and a 2 drink minimum.

MANHATTAN: LE SCANDAL CABARET CONTINUES AT THE BEECHMAN

NYC's longest running burlesque variety show, LE SCANDAL CABARET, continues on Saturdays, at 10:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909). In its ninth year, Le Scandal features variety acts, circus performers, live music and a bevy of burlesque beauties. New performers every week! Expect sword swallowers, belly dancers, rope trick cowboys, contortionists, torch singing fan dancers and comedic aerobats, all set to the live music of the Le Scandal Orchestra. NYC: MICHAEL DUTRA AND HIS STRICTLY SINATRA SEVEN PIECE BAND

Michael Dutra and his Strictly Sinatra Seven Piece Band will perform at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, August 30th at 4:00 pm. Michael Dutra, a Rhode Island native, has been performing his tribute to Frank Sinatra all over the United States, from Las Vegas, to Miami to Boston, in supper clubs, dinner theatre's, performing arts centers and corporate events and private parties since 2002 Michael continues to perform regularly from Maine to Miami approximately 275 nights a year in all types of venues. His true passion comes out when he is performing with his own Strictly Sinatra Band who appear with him touring primarily in Summer season in New England and Winter in Florida. There is a $22.50 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

The Frank DiBussolo Group presents 'Songs to Write Home About' at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Saturday, August 30th at 9:30 pm. Since 1965, guitarist Frank DiBussolo has been gracing concert halls and studios alike with his technical proficiency and smooth, emotionally astute style across the fretboard throughout a fortuitous career that includes collaborations and appearances with such greats as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Dizzy Gillespie. The eight-time Grammy-nominated artist has also developed a wide reputation as an expert educator with a genuine interest in the up-and-comers of the jazz world. Thus the Frank DiBussolo Group was born. Hailing from Allentown, Pennsylvania, the band's members share a likeminded vision for cutting across generation gaps, proving those gaps arbitrary in the process by turning the tried and true into freshness incarnate. NYC: BEN DELACREME IS TERMINALLY DELIGHTFUL

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 contestant BenDeLaCreme makes her New York debut with the premiere of 'Terminally Delightful' at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Thursday & Friday, August 28th & 29th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, August 30th at 10:00 pm. RuPaul's Drag Race exposed the world to BenDeLaCreme. Now it's time for BenDeLaCreme to expose herself to you! Terminally Delightful is an intimate evening of story, song and BenDeLaCreme's signature high camp hijinks as she peels away the outer layers of artifice to reveal the artifice within. Tony-winning star of South Pacific, Paul Szot, headlines 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Friday & Saturday, August 29th & 30th at 8:00 pm for a limited two-night engagement. In his show, the Brazilian opera star presents a program of cherished classics from the American Songbook, as well as Brazilian and jazz favorites. Expect Gershwin, Porter, and even a comic Broadway medley. Paulo is one of the most versatile and extraordinary singers to be heard today. It'll be some enchanted evening, be sure! NYC: BROADWAYSPOTTED'S 5TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

Twitter's and Broadway's Gossip Girl 'BroadwaySpotted' has turned five this year and will celebrate with a concert at54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551) on Saturday, August 30th at 11:00 pm. To celebrate, Broadway Spotted has put together a concert with some of her favorite performers and friends, including Brandon Rubendall (Spider-Man, Anything Goes), Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture, Les Mis), Danny Quadrino (Newsies, Bye Bye Birdie), Lesli Margherita (Matilda) and Andy Kelso (Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia). They will be singing some of their favorite songs, hosted by Kinky Boots' Ellyn Marsh! There will be a Broadway prize raffle and some appearances by special guests.
