PALM SPRINGS: A RANDY ROBERTS WEEKEND AT THE COPA
Celebrity impersonator Randy Roberts will perform at THE COPA(244 East Amado Road, Palm Springs CA - 760-866-0021) on Thursday through Sunday, March 27th through 30th at 8:00 pm (7:30 pm on Sunday). From the moment he walks onstage, Randy Roberts is in charge of his audience. He commands the stage with an unparalleled presence and a voice that is unmatched in the world of female impersonators. Randy Roberts has been entertaining audiences, for over 30 years (since elementary school). He's been seen off-Broadway in the developmental workshop of "Give A Man A Mask" at the York Theatre. In San Francisco in the world premier of the new musical: "Chance" by Richard Isen. Directed by Robert Kalfin at the Alcove Theater. On television on ABC television's "One Life To Live". OAKLAND: THE MIKE ROSE/KELLY PARK BIG BAND
The Mike Rose/Kelly Park Big Band will perform at THE SOUND ROOM (2147 Broadway, Oakland, CA - 415-994-3501) on Sunday, March 30th at 5:00 pm. This is a seventeen piece Jazz Orchestra that truly takes joy in performing big band music of the past and present. This exciting ensemble plays some of the classic big band repertoire as well as original arrangements and compositions by members of the group. SAN FRANCISCO: ROY HARGROVE QUINTET RESIDENCY
