TODAY'S FESTIVAL PICK - NYC: 10th ANNUAL BROADWAY UNPLUGGED AT THE TOWN HALL
FEATURED CABARET FESTIVAL EVENT
The 10th Annual Broadway Unplugged Concert, written, produced and hosted by Scott Siegel will be presented at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929) on Monday, September 30th at 8:00 pm. The concert will feature Tony Nominees, Liz Callaway, Christopher Sieber, Tonya Pinkins, Christiane Noll, and Barbara Walsh. Broadway Unplugged will also have the booming voice of William Michals who played Emile de Beque in the Lincoln Center production of South Pacific, the brilliant old school song and dance talents of Town Hall favorites Noah Racey and Jeffry Denman, and critically acclaimed opera star, John Easterlin. The concert will have bright tenors like Max Von Essen (Evita), Bill Daugherty (Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?), powerful baritones like Jeff Mccarthy (Urinetown), and a great young vocalist on the fast track stardom (and a Broadway by the Year favorite), Carole J. Bufford. BARITONES UNBOUND, a unique trio of magnificent singers, has also agreed to lend their glorious voices to Broadway Unplugged. This trio, made up of 4-time Tony Nominee Marc Kudisch, Tony Honoree Ben Davis (Baz Luhrman's La Boheme), and Metropolitan Opera Star Principal Jeff Mattsey, will join an already star-packed cast. Ticket Prices are just $77 for orchestra & Loge; $52 for front balcony; $27 for rear balcony. Order your tickets now via Ticketmaster or at The Town Hall Box Office between noon & 6 PM every day but Sunday.
