CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: KINGSLEY AND PRINCE RETURN IN DANCE ME TO THE END OF LOVE
Evangelia Kingsley and Chip Prince return to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, September 22nd at 4:00 pm and Monday, September 30th at 9:30 pm with their new show DANCE ME TO THE END OF LOVE. Featuring the iconic song by Leonard Cohen along with material of Gershwin, Porter, Rorem, Waits, and many more, Chip and Evangelia will explore dance through song. They are joined on stage by special guests, and offstage by director, Eliza Beckwith. Evangelia met Chip during Baz Luhrmann's production of La Boheme and they have worked together happily ever since. The seed for DANCE ME TO THE END OF LOVE was planted during their previous collaboration, PLACES TO LIVE: TRAVELING MUSIC FOR THE RESTLESS. Along with director, Eliza Beckwith (known for world premieres of original and complex plays with Ensemble Studio Theatre and New Directions Theatre), they have created a surprising, funny and emotionally powerful journey through song. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
