CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: SONGWRITER MICHELE BROURMAN AT THE MET
In a rare New York City appearance Singer/Songwriter Michele Brourman steps into the spotlight at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday. September 29th at 7:00 pm to perform an evening of her own material, joined by special guest singer Heather Mac Rae. Michele Brourman is an American songwriter who is well known for writing the songs to most of the films in the Land Before Time series (with Amanda McBroom), as well as the accompanying television series (with Ford Riley). She has also written the songs for sequels Balto II: Wolf Quest and Balto III: Wings of Change and one song for the family film Shiloh. Passionate, funny and deeply moving, Michele's songs speak directly to our hearts. Best known for her song "My Favorite Year," Brourman has created music for theatre, film, television, and the concert stage. Her songs have been recorded by such artists as Michael Feinstein, Amanda McBroom, Margaret Whiting, Dixie Carter, and even a family of animated dinosaurs. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
