Broadway Sings for PKD will be held on Wednesday, August 21st at 11:30 pm at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551). The event seeks to raise awareness of Polycystic Kidney Disease by celebrating musical theatre and emerging composers and lyricists. Featuring Ali Ewoldt (Les Miserables, The Fantasticks), F. Michael Haynie (Wicked, Dogfight), Amber Iman (Soul Doctor), Janet Krupin (Hands on a Hardbody, Bring it On), Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Ghost), Kate Rockwell (Rock of Ages, Bring it On), Robb Sapp (Shrek, Wicked), Tally Sessions (Big Fish), rising star Melanie Burg, as well as music by Bob Kelly & Kelly Pomeroy, Landon Braverman & Derek P. Hassler, Gaby Alter & Itamar Moses, Sarah Anne Rebell & Elizabeth Hope Hagstedt, & more TBA! There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
