CABARET TONIGHT IN MARYLAND: DENYSE PEARSON AND HER GENTLEMEN OF DISTINCTION
Denyse Pearson and Her Gentlemen of Distinction perform at BETHESDA BLUES & JAZZ SUPPER CLUB(7719 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, MD - 240-330-4500) on Thursday, August 22nd at 8:00 pm. Denyse Pearson, whose distinctive, mellifluous voice and personality brings to life the music popular in the thirties and forties artfully and masterfully interprets the American Jazz Songbook. Denyse has performed aboard the USS Norway, in numerous jazz venues locally, and traveled to Amsterdam, Switzerland, France and Norway answering the call of music performance. She is joined by Derek Gasque, Music Director of her Gentlemen of Distinction, to present pure music entertainment and enjoyment. Derek Gasque, a master pianist, who studied in Germany, performed throughout Europe, and worked with American Idol Season 5 contestants. He is a dynamic performer, educator and a true gentleman of distinction who commands a variety of music genres under his gifted hands.
