CABARET TONIGHT IN NYC: STRAIGHT TO DVD AT THE DUPLEX
A stages reading of 'Straight to DVD' will be presented at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, August 18th at 7:00 pm. The show is about the B movies of Hollywood you've never seen, performed by the B actors of New York that you've never heard of. NYC's comedic actors read the little-known scripts of films that could ruin Tinsel Town's biggest stars. Bring your Depends as they unearth the brilliantly bad movies Hollywood's publicists are trying to make disappear, such as "LOL" (Demi Moore, Miley Cyrus), and other gems including but not limited to "Crossroads" (Britney Spears, Zoe Saldana, Dan Aykroyd, and Kim Cattrall?!) and "The Net" (Sandra Bullock, Dennis Miller). Hosts: Kirsten O'Brien and Evan Zelnick; Actors: Rick Lechowick, Ljuba Castot, Rachael Harrington, Gina Trello, and Felipe Bonilla. There is a $12 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
