Grammy winner for "Band of Gold", Freda Payne will appear at CATALINA JAZZ CLUB (6725 West Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA - 323-466-2210) on Friday & Saturday, July 19th & 20th at 8:30 pm. Freda has been singing jazz since she was in her teens. In this show, Freda celebrates the great ladies of jazz like Ella, Lena & Sarah along with a sprinkle of some R&B hits, as well. She will share many lovely personal stories of these singers (and occasionally scat her way thru their hits).
