CHICAGO CABARET TONIGHT: JOAN CURTO SINGS COLE PORTER: FROM MAJOR TO MINOR
Chicago cabaret favorite Joan Curto brings back her acclaimed show "Joan Curto Sings Cole Porter: From Major to Minor" to DAVENPORT'S(1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Thursday & Friday, July 11th & 12th and Friday & Saturday, July 19th & 20th - all shows at 8:00 pm. Called a "cabaret icon" by NBC News-Chicago. Joan Curto has performed in most theatres and clubs in Chicago and tours nationally. She will be debuting her new show, celebrating the wit and sophistication of Cole Porter, arguably the supreme master of sophisticated song. Joan will be touring this show in late 2013. Joining her will be musical director, Beckie Menzie and Jim Cox on bass. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
