NYC: TONY CORRAO & BAND MAKE METROPOLITAN DEBUT TONIGHT
Tony Corrao and his band croons the music of the Great American song book at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 ) on Tuesday, July 9th at 7:00 pm. Brooklyn native Tony Corrao makes his Metropolitan Room debut in his show, "Finally..." His love of music is evident in the passion he delivers with each of his performances. His elegant sense of swing and style will transport you back to the era of high society and sophistication. His mission is to keep the music of the Great American Songbook alive and kicking. Tony has performed at a number of jazz venues in NYC/NJ/Philadelphia, private events and weddings. Tony was a cast member of the 2012 "Sinatra Birthday Bash" at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ., an annual musical celebration of Frank Sinatra in honor of his birthday. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
