NYC: TOM ROCCO APPEARING IN THE 2013 FRESH FRUIT FESTIVAL TONIGHT
MAC Award winning cabaret performer Tom Rocco, will be performing his cabaret show, "My Big, Fat, Proposition 8 Wedding" as part of the 2013 Fresh Fruit Festival on Monday, July 8th at 9:00 pm at THE WILD PROJECT (195 East 3rd Street, NYC -TKTS:www.freshfruitfestival.com/ ). This evening of songs (some familiar, some lesser-known) and light-hearted anecdotes follows Rocco's unconventional path to wedded bliss. A Broadway and off-Broadway veteran, Rocco has been seen on the NYC cabaret stages of Joe's Pub, Don't Tell Mama, Ars Nova, and The Metropolitan Room and has recently been hitting the road with this show. He's also performed at fundraisers for The Trevor Project, Human Rights Campaign and Equal Rights Washington. The festival (which runs from July 8th through July 21st in NYC) is presented by All Out Arts to celebrate the LGBTQ community's unique perspective, creativity & diversity, and to build links between the LGBTQ artistic communities, be they local or international.
