Denise Perrier brings blues/jazz icons Bessie Smith & Dinah Washington back to life in her fabulous show, "Bessie, Dinah and Me...Denise Perrier." at RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) on Wednesday, August 11th at 8:00 pm. Denise combines elements of her Bessie Smith portrayals ("In the House of the Blues", "Blues in the Night") and her very successful Dinah Washington tribute ("Unforgettable") in a show certain to enchant fans of blues and jazz. Bessie Smith (the Empress) and Dinah Washington (the Queen) are two of music's most influential and popular figures. Denise recreates these great artists both in appearance and sound. Denise also presents favorites from her own versatile repertoire and CDs: The Second Time Around , Live at Yoshi's: Blue Monday Party, East Meets West and I Wanna Be Loved. Tickets are $30 plus a 2-drink minimum.
