TODAY IN S.F.: BROADWAY'S SHOSHANA BEAN TWO NIGHTS ONLY AT THE RRAZZ
Best known for her roles in the Broadway smash hits Wicked and Hairspray and a stellar performance alongside Brian McKnight on the Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards, Shoshana Bean moves into the RRAZZ ROOM at THE HOTEL NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-394-1189) on Monday & Tuesday, August 9th & 10th at 8:00 pm. Raised in Portland, Oregon and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, Shoshana first appeared on the New York City theater scene in the Off-Broadway revival of Godspell. Soon after, she made her Broadway debut in the original cast of the Tony Award-winning production of Hairspray and went on to be the first replacement for the famed green-skinned witch Elphaba in the Broadway sensation Wicked. Following her year-long Broadway run, she was invited to reprise her performance throughout North America in the Wicked national tour.
