FEATURED CABARET FESTIVAL EVENT
The Provincetown Business Guild is excited to present PROVINCETOWN CABARET FEST 2010, Friday through Sunday, April 16th through 18th. The event features 14 performers appearing in 4 venues, and opens on Friday April 16th with a special Opening Night Party at 8:00 pm at CROWN & ANCHOR (47 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA - 508-487-1430 ) hosted by NYCs Jim Caruso, and featuring each of the Cabaret Fest performers along with guest appearances by Celeste Howe, Lisa Jason, and Barbara Nye. Then, also at CROWN & ANCHOR (47 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA - 508-487-1430 - ), from 10:00 pm to closing, entertainer and pianist extraordinaire Bobby Wetherbee will be tickling the ivories and belting out the tunes . His high energy non-stop show is not to be missed - Bobby is the showman of showmen. NO COVER.
Meantime, on Friday, April 16th from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am, at the GIFFORD HOUSE (11 Carver Street, Provincetown, MA - 508-487-0688 - ) Casey Sanderson & Denise Parks will entertain. Casey and Denise have been long time friends growing up together in Provincetown... true locals! They perform in various venues in town on a regular basis, but the Friday night piano sing along at the Porchside's Lobby Bar has become a regular staple for most of the past decade. During Provincetown's "Holly Folly" weekend, Casey & Denise's Holiday Sing Along has become a must see for all. NO COVER.
Also, on Friday, April 16th from 10:00 pm to closing, the WATERFORD INN & TAVERN (386 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA - 508-487-6400 - ) presents John Thomas. John Thomas is a composer, pianist, music director, actor, photographer, and producer of music events. For more than a decade he has composed a wide variety of music for piano, theater productions, choral cantatas, and other performance venues. NO COVER.
