NYC: JOCELYN MEDINA MAKES METROPOLITAN ROOM DEBUT
Internationally acclaimed vocalist/composer Jocelyn Medina is appearing at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Sunday, April 11th at 7:00 pm. Jocelyn will present a diverse repertoire of original music, fusing elements of Brazil, Spain, and Africa with jazz harmonies, funk grooves and adventurous improvisations delivered through compelling lyrics and a distinct sound. Making her debut performance at the Metropolitan Room, Ms. Medina will be accompanied by Rodrigo Ursaia on flute and saxophone, Jo Junghanss on piano, Evan Gregor on bass and Ziv Ravitz on drums, performing original jazz, funk, world, pop-influenced material from her new album, "We Are Water." There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
