NYC: JUDI MARK "DANCING THROUGH LIFE" AT THE BEECHMAN

Judi Mark reprises her acclaimed show "Dancing Through Life" at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on Tuesdays, October 28th and November 18th, both shows at 7:00 pm. Judi performs a one woman show featuring the songbook of Miller, Miranda, McKechnie and more ... songs made famous by the ladies who danced. Arrangements and Musical Direction by Hubert "Tex" Arnold. The show is directed by Jeff Harnar. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

NYC: BARRETT IS BACK ON RESTAURANT ROW 

Chris Barrett returns to LA RIVISTA RISTORANTE (313 West 46th Street, NYC - 212-366-4603) on Monday, May 19th, where he will be at the piano Mondays through Wednesdays. There are two shows nightly, a dinner show at 8:00 and a supper show at 10:00 pm. Chris Barrett's performances are in the tradition of the great late-night boites of a fondly remembered era, when the likes of Hugh Shannon, Bobby Short, and Buddy Barnes manned the keyboard. There is no cover charge

NYC: ERIC COMSTOCK AT CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA

Eric Comstock continues his residency at New York's newest music venue, CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA (178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) from 8:00 pm to midnight every Tuesday night. An acknowledged master of the American Songbook, Comstock has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and virtually every important nightclub in New York and across the country. He is one of only a handful of singer/pianists who can command a room merely by sitting at the piano, singing and telling stories. In addition to his extensive knowledge of repertoire, Comstock has a seemingly unending supply of anecdotes about the songs, the writers, and the stars who sang them. His unique combination of musicianship, history and charisma creates an experience that is as entertaining as it is musically savvy, and his audiences feel they've been to a terrific party where the music and the stories have been equally great. NYC: 3 MEN AND A BABY... GRAND! AT THE MET

Lee Lessack, John Boswell and Brian Lane Green bring their show '3 Men and a Baby... Grand!' to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday through Wednesday, November 17th through 19th at 7:00 pm.This versatile group has created several themed shows singing tributes to Broadway, Sinatra, Mercer, the fabulous 50s and 60s and just about every era in between. Their harmonies are incredible and individually each one brings star-power to the stage. There is a $25 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: KEVIN SCOTT HALL'S THAT SINGING FEELING SHOWCASE

Singer/ Teacher/ Critic/ Director Kevin Scott Hall presents six singers from his intensive workshop at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 212-255-5438) on Sunday, November 16th at 4:30 pm. Each performs a ten-minute set. Cast includes Letitia Adams, India Alexis, Nathan Johnson, Tina Owens, Carlos Pinero, and Claudia Rodriguez Tressler. Kenneth Gartner is musical director. There is a $14 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.

NYC: CHRISTINE ANDREAS: LOVE IS GOOD

After a triumphant run last fall, Christine Andreas returns to 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) with a brand new evening of song. Performances are scheduled for Tuesday & Wednesday, November 18th & 19th and Friday & Saturday, November 21st & 22nd - all shows at 7:00 pm. 'Love Is Good' is Christine's most personal show. Together with her husband, award-winning composer Martin Silvestri, Christine has fashioned a warm, witty, and beautiful evening of music drawn from the American songbook and Broadway. The program will also include some very personal original songs, performed with an energy that can only evolve with the intimacy of a 22-year-old musical relationship! Originally conceived for a command performance at the White House in the intimate setting of the presidential living room, Christine and Martin have created a sophisticated, romantic evening crafted to show the power of brilliant lyrics set to unforgettable melodies from Rodgers & Hart, Lerner & Loewe, Gershwin, Piaf, and a few surprises that promise to lighten your spirit and make your heart sing! There is a $35-$70 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum.

NYC: VOX POP THE MUSICAL - IN CONCERT

David Davila's VOX POP: In Concert will be performed at 54 BELOW (254 West 54th Street, NYC - 646-476-3551 - ) on Tuesday, November 18th at 9:30 pm. The zany, award-winning musical theatre writer from South Texas premieres songs from his upcoming musical, VOX POP: a musical prophecy. David Davila has played sold-out concerts of his work at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, the Triad, the Underground, and The West End Lounge. His shows have been presented at the Intar Theatre and the Davenport Theatre. In a dystopian world where bees have become mythological creatures, and human slaves must pollinate the crops, a young pollinator's life is turned upside down when she becomes the center of the Voxist revolution. But is she really the "chosen one" that will fulfill the ancient Vox Pop prophecy? VOX POP features the songs "Be The Change," "Closer," "All Good Things," "Propaganda," "Vox Pop," and others. Starring: Michael McCorry Rose (Wicked), Emma Hunton (Wicked), Daniel Quadrino (Newsies), Desi Oakley (Evita), Jaime Cepero (SMASH), Gabrielle Ruiz (In The Heights), Charles Barksdale (Sister Act), Mariela Flor Olivo, Jose Sepulveda and more to be announced! NYC: JOHN PIZZARELLI & JESSICA MOLASKEY AT THE CAFE

The acclaimed husband-wife jazz duo of John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey return to THE CAFE CARLYLE (35 East 76th Street, NYC - 212-744-1600) for a 4-week run on Tuesday, October 28th through Saturday, November 22nd at 8:45 pm, with a late show on Saturdays at 10:45 pm. Their new show is called 'Grown Up Songs' and features songs by Stephen Sondheim, Johnny Mercer, Paul McCartney, Alan Jay Lerner, Adam Guettel, Billy Joel and more. They will be joined by a band including Kevin Kanner on drums, Martin Pizzarelli on double bass and Konrad Paszkudzki on piano. As always, John Pizzarelli will play guitar. There is a $55-$185 cover plus a $25 food/drink minimum. 

NYC: DINE & DANCE WITH VINCE GIORDANO AND THE NIGHTHAWKS - NOW AT THE IGUANA

Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks are back - and now will play every Monday & Tuesday night from 8:00 to 11:00 pm at at IGUANA'S VIP LOUNGE (240 West 54th Street, NYC - 212-765-5454). Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks is an eleven-piece band playing music of the 1920s & 30s for your dining and dancing pleasure. In 1976 Vince Giordano & the Nighthawks (originally known as the New Orleans Nighthawks) was formed. A big-band historian and collector, Giordano has more than 60,000 scores in his collection. There is a $15 cover (at the door) plus a $15 food drink minimum.
