CHICAGO, IL: ALEXI KOVIN WITH THE OLD, THE NEW, AND THE NEWER
Singer/songwriter Alexi Kovin brings her show' The Old, The New, and The Newer' to DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL - 773-278-1830) on Wednesday, September 17th at 8:00 pm. She invites you to join her for an hour full of sass, swooning, belting, and crooning in the corner. With the help of pianist Mike Evans, Alexi explores different musical styles with her own renditions of the jazzy standards we all know and love (the old), putting a new twist on some more recent pop and music theatre songs (the new), and sharing some of her newly written material (the newer). With surprises at every turn! There is a $10 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
