Laura Freeman and Cheryl Szucsits return to theACORN THEATER (107 Generations Drive, Three Oaks, MI - 269-756-3879) this summer in American Bandstand: the Music of Our Lives on Sunday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm. American Bandstand ran for 4 decades and brought into America's living rooms some of music's most loved artists. This show takes a look back at the dance crazes that swept the nation and the songs that make up the fabric of our lives! After their show of the girls of the early 60s last year, Michiana favorites Laura Freeman and Cheryl Szucsits return with a tribute to artists from the 50s like Jerry Lee Lewis, songs of the 60's like 'California Dreamin', an overview of the 70s variety show with Tony Orlando and Dawn and the Captain and Tennille and finally ending in the 80s with tunes like 'Let's Hear it for the Boy.
