LONDON CABARET TONIGHT: AMANDA MCBROOM WITH "LET'S FALL IN LOVE" AT CRAZY COQS
Singer/songwriter Amanda McBroom brings her new show LET'S FALL IN LOVE to THE CRAZY COQS AT BRASSERIE ZEDEL (20 Sherwood St, Piccadilly, London W1F 7ED - 020 7734 4888) on Tuesday through Saturday, June 4th through 8th at 8:00 pm. She is joined by her musical director Michele Brourman. In this show Amanda McBroom ponders the dark and light sides of that endangered species - romance. What distinguishes McBroom from her contemporaries is her talent for writing exceptional songs that are flush with feelings and are witty and profound. Never over-the-top, her work seethes with a passion that is artfully funneled into music and lyrics. In addition to brilliantly interpreting the classical American Songbook, she will be singing several self-penned numbers including most famously The Rose, an international hit for Bette Midler, and Errol Flynn, which McBroom wrote about her father the actor David Bruce who worked with Flynn and Gary Cooper. She will also be debuting two brand new songs, Old Love and No Fear. Call for cover/minimum information.
