TONIGHT IN NYC: LYNN HENDERSON WITH "I TRAVEL ALONE: AT THE METROPOLITAN
Singer Lynn Henderson will return toTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Monday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm with a new show titled "I Travel Alone." This is Lynn's second engagement at the popular club; in 2012 Lynn performed her successful show, "Try To Remember" - a joy-filled, tasteful romp through a life well lived. After the end of her marriage, Lynn Henderson went on a journey of discovery. Traveling on bicycle, on foot and horseback, she wandered through Myanmar, Vietnam, China, Laos, Cambodia, India, South Africa and more.This show is a musical memoir of this experience. It includes songs that range from Cat Stevens and Paul Simon to Noel Coward, Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach/Hal David, and others to tell the story of her travels and the many memorable experiences she encountered along the way. Lynn will be joined by Douglas J. Cohen, on piano and vocals; Bob Sabin, on bass and Sherrie Maricle on drums. There is a $20 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
