FEATURED CABARET BENEFIT EVENT
"Free To Be Me: Our Stories Our Songs" a benefit for LGBT Rights and Bullying, will be presented at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) on Wednesday, June 5th at 9:30 pm. This very special evening will celebrate the kick off of Gay Pride Month. The performers will be sharing personal stories of coming out, being proud and even stories of being bullied. The evening will benefit Gay Rights Campaign and Gay Bullying. With the recent targeted Hate Crimes in New York, it time for our community and the straight community who believe that everyone in entitled to the same rights to come together once and for all. The evening will be musical directed by Tracy Stark and Produced by Joseph Macchia and Michelle Buttigieg. Scheduled to take part in the show are Adam Shapiro, Stearns Matthews, Gerry Mastrolia, Sam Given, JIMMY HORAN & NYGMC's CAST OF NIGHT OUT, Cara Kilduff, Gretchen Reinhagen, Bob Diamond, Elaine Bennett, Cara Kilduff, Darron Cardosa, Michael Kirk Lane, Ricky Ritzel and Rev. Yolanda (in drag) As with all live entertainment events, cast subject to change without notice. There is a $15 cover plus a 2-drink minimum.
