TONIGHT IN SEATTLE: AN EVENING WITH KARL REYES AND ARNALDO! DRAG CHANTEUSE
Two very talented Asian American artists in the Seattle area are volunteering their voices to raise funds for the Seattle Asian LGBTQ community as we prepare for PRIDE events in June at EGAN'S IN BALLARD JAMHOUSE(1707 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA - 206-789-1621) on Thursday, May 23rd with shows at 7:00 & 9:00 pm. Seattle Opera Chorus soloist Karl Marx Reyes joins Arnaldo! dragchanteuse in an exciting evening of music with the phenomenal John Engerman as musical director. Karl Marx Reyes is a Filipino American Tenor trained in the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Reyes made his Seattle Opera debut as a Contadino in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, followed as the Messenger in Verdi's Aida and then the NVA Lieutenant Commander in the world premiere of Daron Hagen's Amelia. Arnaldo! Drag Chanteuse is a New York Bistro Award winner and also artistic director of The Pacific Northwest Cabaret Association. As a regular guest soloist of the Seattle Men's Chorus, Arnaldo! has performed in some of the most prestigious halls in the world. $25 donation - 100% goes to the ASIAN LGBTQ community - plus a 2-drink minimum.
