TONIGHT IN NYC: ALYSA HAAS JAZZ CABARET SHOW AT THE MET
Alysa Haas presents her new show, singing romantic and comical love songs from her upcoming CD, 'SPASM' atTHE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440)on Sunday, May 19th at 7:00 pm. Song will vary from the American Songbook to Dylan, arranged by music producer Jeffrey Klitz, Tedd Firth, and Paul Beaudry. She will be accompanied by Jeffrey Klitz, Piano; Bernd Schoenhart, Guitar; Paul Beaudry, Bass; Tony Jefferson, Drums. For the past six years Alysa has pursued a career as a vocalist, combining her musical talents and theatrical expressiveness. She has been coached in the cabaret world by Helen Baldassare, Colette Black, Kevin Scott Hall, and Ellen Bullinger, and has appeared in various NYC cabaret venues including Don't Tell Mama, Rose's Turn, The Duplex, Cleopatra's Needle, and Brandy's Piano Bar. She appeared in the Cab Calloway Awards at the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theater.
