NYC: ANOTHER HUNDRED PEOPLE: SULLIVAN & HARNAR SING SONDHEIM: ACT TWO
KT Sullivan and Jeff Harnar return to THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATRE (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909) on four Wednesdays in July with their new show 'Another Hundred People: Sullivan & Harnar Sing Sondheim: Act Two'. Performance dates are July 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th - all shows at 7:00 pm. Act Two is a companion piece to last summer's Act One "Our Time". Musical Director is Jon Weber and the show is directed by Sondra Lee. As two of the world's most acclaimed cabaret artists, KT Sullivan (Broadway: The Threepenny Opera, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes; Cabaret: Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, the Oak Room at the Algonquin, The Kennedy Center) and Jeff Harnar (Cabaret venues across the world including Carnegie Hall, and winner of the 2012 Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award) perform more Sondheim classics giving a new insight into the timeless music of Stephen Sondheim. There is a $30 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.

Craig Pomranzn brings his new show "LoveTakes Time" to CAFE NOCTAMBULO AT PANGEA (178 Second Avenue, NYC - 212-995-0900) on Wednesdays, July 8th & 15th at 8:00 pm. Craig has distinguished himself consistently in his live shows by performing music from the Great American Songbook that is not over-recorded, contemporary pop, as well as more unusual songs he has collected from songwriters through the years. Performing classic standards and brand-new material - with his own unique talent and compelling vocal style, Craig offers a one-stop entertainment experience recognized for a timeless style in the tradition of Chet Baker, Sammy Davis Jr. and Frank Sinatra. Pomranz headlines at the most celebrated nightspots domestically and internationally, at NY's Metropolitan Room, London's famous Pizza on the Park, Los Angeles Gardenia Restaurant & Lounge and Chicago's Davenports. FRAMINGHAM, MA: AMAZING THINGS OPEN MIC FEATURING RICHARD WHITE
Every second Wednesday of the month Leslie Holmes hosts an amazing Open Mic night at the AMAZING THINGS ARTS CENTER (160 Hollis Street, Framingham, MA - 508-405-2787), and each show features a special guest. On Wednesday, July 8th the featured guest will be Richard White. Pianist for both Frank and the open mic is Tom LaMark. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Rich White got his start as a performer as one of the founding members of the All-Philadelphia Boys Choir under Dr. Carlton Jones Lake. He made his first professional acting appearance as Kurt Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at the Lunt-Fontaine Theater in New York City in 1960 (replacing one of the original cast members whose voice had changed). He later played Friedrich Von Trapp in the National Tour of The Sound of Music with Florence Henderson and Forrest Tucker. He appeared as a juvenile and chorus member in such Broadway musicals as Noel Coward's Sail Away (with Elaine Stritch); Oliver! (where he understudied future Monkee and teenage heartthrob Davy Jones as The Artful Dodger); Breakfast At Tiffany's; Henry, Sweet Henry and Her First Roman. He also worked for two seasons with the American Shakespeare Festival Theater of Stratford, Connecticut, appearing in various roles in their productions of Mrs. Warren's Profession; The Merchant of Venice; Julius Caesar; Macbeth and The Devil's Disciple. Encouraged by his friend, teacher and mentor, the late jazz singer Joe Williams, Rich returned to music, performing in jazz clubs and cabarets, singing songs from the Great American Songbook. He has taken his solo act on the road, including appearances at New York City's Birdland; Small's; The Duplex; Don't Tell Mama and The Metropolitan Room; Boston's Club Cafe; Wally's and The Encore Lounge; Cambridge's Ryles Jazz Club and Acton; MA's Acton Jazz Cafe.•The open-mic starts at 7:00 pm (signup at 6:30 pm), and the featured performers go on at 8:10 pm. There is an $10 cover charge ($9 cover for BACA members).
