SAN FRANCISCO, CA: RED HOTS BURLESQUE PRESENTS BARNABY'S BABES AT THE OASIS
OASIS (298 11th Street, San Francisco, CA - 415-795-3180), San Francisco's hottest new nightclub and cabaret theater, kicks off the summer season with a diverse lineup of new and returning musical acts, comedy shows, dance parties, and drag performances. On Wednesdays, June 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th at 9:00 pm, the club presents RED HOTS BURLESQUE PRESENTS BARNABY'S BABES. Red Hots Burlesque is the United States' longest running queer burlesque show featuring an international rotating cast that guarantees that you will never see the same show twice. On the 3rd, The Barnaby Brothers are at it again, taking San Francisco's hottest new nightspot Oasis back in time to the golden years of entertainment. Red Hots Burlesque and Barnaby's Babes dial up the nostalgia, reviving the heyday of the revue with a brand new show, featuring all live music as well as San Francisco's favorite drag, comedy and burlesque stars! Tickets for all performances are available now at www.sfoasis.com or in-person at the Oasis Box Office. There is a $10-$20 cover.
SAN FRANCISCO: SINGER/SONGWRITER CASEY BREVES AT FEINSTEIN'S
FEINSTEIN'S AT THE NIKKO (222 Mason Street, San Francisco, CA - 866-663-1063) presents the return of singer/ songwriter Casey Breves for one performance only - Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm. Breves will perform original songs from his debut album as well as a selection of standards and pop covers. Breves currently lives in New York City, where he is writing, recording, and performing regularly. He is a fixture on the NYC club scene. Breves has performed across the United States, Europe, and Asia as both a classical and pop vocalist. He toured for three seasons with the Grammy Award- winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer as his first engagement after graduating from Yale University, where he was a member of the centennial class of the Whiffenpoofs. He was a featured soloist in the world premiere of the oratorio A Melancholy Beauty at the Kennedy Center and Avery Fisher Hall, starred in The Fall of the House of Usher at the NYC Fringe Festival, sang the title role in Monteverdi's Orfeo at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, and appeared as the principal soloist in Too Hot to Handel: The Gospel Messiah with the Symphony Silicon Valley. Breves was featured in a solo spot as the voice of Andrea Bocelli on "Saturday Night Live" in the sketch "Christmas Album. There is a $25-$40 cover plus a $20 food/drink minimum.
